Burgers, chicken wings and cake, Wilbur’s does it to perfection!
Once again hk.salad.com discovered a great little place surrounded by art and culture. Being a victim of their success, Wilbur’s had to open a new shop this September in the Hollywood section of PMQ, Central. The charming place offers American burgers, Mexican cuisine, and lobster. This strange variety works perfectly as we were far from disappointed, we loved it!
Wilbur’s might be a little hard to find, but it always takes a little struggle to enjoy something. To access it you need to pass a lovely terrace, on the 4th floor, giving the feeling of escaping the city in a way.
The restaurant itself has style and personality, with an efficient staff. We opted for the set lunch at 118HK. They are obviously cheaper options on the extensive menu, but if you are a foody the options of the set lunch will have you convinced.
The set lunch starts with tasty, tender barbecue chicken wings. The presentation and service was impeccable on top of the delicious food. The burger is a heavy piece of art, with soft toasted buns and great meat quality!! And the fries … little doors to heaven.
This alone will have you fully satisfied. But ther
e is more! You can choose either a carrot or a chocolate cake. Fresh raspberry on a leaf of mint creates a new sensation and flavours to chocolate.
No need to say it is a perfect little cosy place for a great sunny day lunch with friends. PMQ is swarming with little shops for an after lunch occupation, as well as the new art car unveiling! Give it a go, great food, quality, with a little get away from the city mixed with an artsy feeling. What else could you ask for? The address:
