Here is my favorite Thai spot in town! Located in Sheung Wan Hollywood road, this Thai restaurant showcases the specialties from Issan (North east Thailand). Great vibes from the very cool design of the place, cool background music and most importantly the staff’s kindness.
I have not once been disappointed by the food of chef Adam Cliff. It’s like an explosion of flavors happening on every mouthful. It is to me by far the best dinner and drink hang out before heading to the madness of Weekend nights in Central. I would recommend to go there with a couple of friends and then order away sharing style. My only issue is I never know which of the chicken dishes to order because they are both so delicious. Just order both ;-). Do not miss their whole sea bass cooked in salt crust with lemon grass, so moist and incredibly fresh. The portion might look rather small but they deliver such a punch you won’t need more than that. Moreover, you won’t want to miss their incredible desserts. Great selection of refreshing Cocktails and international beers are available to quench your thirst. Lastly Chachawan has a walk-in policy so put on your flip-flop and sunnies, grab a Singha and wait!! It’ll be worth it. The place get crowded (Usually a good sign) but the excellent neighbor Duecento otto aka 208 has some delicious Italian treats while you’re waiting for your Thai smashing meal.
