Big John Cafe in TST is a small place that does great and simple food. Half local and half western, BJ is the place to have your simple and cheap english breakfast in kowloon side. With a seating of approximately 20 people at the most busy, you will find there a home cooking held by a family that wants to stick to traditional and easy to eat food. Don’t expect a 3 star michelin restaurant but a warm and cheerful experience in the heart of Kowloon city.
Hksalad regularly goes to this restaurant to get the Big John’s breakfast set that will include coffee and/or coffee, toasted bread and jam on the side of two perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs with bacon or scrambled eggs with some mushrooms and sausage…all this for HKD31 which is nowadays impossible to find anywhere else in hong kong.
we recommend you to visit them and try out their breakfast.
